Level of difficulty: Moderate, 750-foot elevation gain.
Driving distance/directions from downtown: approx 2.8 miles. Follow Dillard Road south (Route 106) to signs for Glen Falls. Turn left, proceed to trailhead at end of long gravel road.
Hiking distance: 3.2 miles round trip
Description: You’ll encounter several small streams along the trail, so consider water-resistant boots if you’re prone to slipping. It’s quite fun to rock-hop, so don’t let that feature dissuade you. As you complete the trail, hikers are rewarded with several scenic overlooks from rocky outcrops at trails end.
Worth Noting: Remember original path back to your vehicle parked at Glen Falls and avoid side trail leading to Route 106 (as that’s a different entry point).
